  Well the doctor said I was anemic and, of course, everyone knows the cure for anemia is red meat...lots of it so I thought I'd head on down to Brazil Grill and get my carnivore on! (not a true story - I wasn't anemic!)
  
  Location - Located in Hartford on Park Street, the restaurant can be a little difficult to locate especially late evening/night. First of, the sign hangs on a tall pole and is too high. Thankfully my passenger saw it. There's no sign on the front of the restaurant as well. Second, don't come with your truck or SUV and expect to find parking. The parking lot out front of the restaurant only has a couple parking spots and are very narrow even when parking or reversing. You can park on the side street or on the main road but you'd have to be lucky finding a spot on the side street. As for the main road, I'm not sure if you can park there so don't go by what I write here. (-2)
  
  Aesthetics - Lots of tables chairs and good lighting. Clean surroundings as well. When you arrive you're not shown to your seats by staff. Instead, you grab your plate, pick your food, then sit on your own. You choose where to sit.
  
  Menu - As a newbie to this restaurant, I was expecting to find or be given a menu but instead what you do is grab your plate, choose your food buffet style, then you approach the carver and choose your meats which goes for $8.99/lb. All the meats are continuously cooked over an open flame brick oven on skewers.
  
  Service - staff greeted us, asked us if we ever ate there, and explained how the system of eating there worked. They answered our questions without any problems.
  
  Food - From the buffet, I had some vegetable rice which wasn't too dry or oily; black beans which was well seasoned and cooked; and a dish that contained shredded beef and cooked vegetables that looked like a stew - the beef was tender juicy and well seasoned.
  For the meats, I had the pork loin and the steak (medium). The nice thing about the meats is that you can tell the carver to keep going, i.e. you can eat all the meat if you want and if you pocket and accommodate it. The meat wasn't too hot but warm enough, juicy and very tender.
  
  Rating - 3/5. So I guess I know where I'll be coming again to cure my anemia or fulfill my carnivore needs - Brazil Grill!

  Great food. Great people. Food is fresh and healthy tasting. If your looking for a homemade fire grilled taste of something different. Go! Brazilian! Go Brazil Grill Pizza Churrascaria!! 1995 Park street Hartford!!!
